Hanging House

The old iron ore mine in Tuna Hästberg in Sweden has been abandoned since 1968. The mine is now water filled up to the 80m level with crystal clear water. The temperature is 4 degrees Celsius in the water. This model shows ‘The Hanging House’ located at the 120 m level, and was probably used to connect two parts of the mine over a shaft that goes from the 120 m level down to the 200 m level.
