The first wagon

The “A-mine” is an old iron mine located in the middle of Sweden. It were shut down in 1968 and has been abandoned and flooded ever since. There is quit a lot of things left behind in the mine by the miners and in this model is the wagon, the first of at least four that has been discoverd so far.

This wagon were used to move iron ore around in the mine using muscle strength. It is located some 75 meters into the mine at a moderate 14 meters water depth. Usually the visibility at this place is quit poor, approximately 1-2 meters.
