In the beginning of 2022, Martin Fregelius and Anders Etander, saw some 3D models and got the idea - "We should do this with our mines!" 

 

They are now running several 3D projects in parallell at different sites. Beside building models over parts of abandonned water filled mines, they are working on picturing different wrecks, mainly in Sweden but also in Malta. 

 

Building 3D models underwater is specifically challenging mainly due the absence of light, specifically in the mines, and that the visibility can be poor. Each model is built up from 500 pictures in the small models to several 10th of thousands in the big ones.
