Wrecks

There are a lot of wrecks all over the world. We know were 30 000 wrecks are located but estimate that there is 70 000 that stil has not been found, in the Baltic Sea alone!.

The environment in the Baltic Sea is unique, low salinity and cold water preserves wrecks longer than in other environments. Above all, this applies to wooden wrecks, as the shipworm does not thrive in water with a low salinity. The same applies to ships made of steel, which do not rust at the same rate as in salt water.
